Objectives:
  • Train excellent graduates with academic and professional leadership, who understand and analyze current social complexity from a systemic perspective, equipped with theoretical and methodological tools and competencies to work in public, private, and civil society organizations, both nationally and internationally.
  • Develop skills for scientific research and interdisciplinary professional work under a systemic conception that integrates knowledge and methods from different disciplines to understand society.
  • Encourage academic and professional projections in academic, research, and interdisciplinary team environments, with the ability to identify, systematize, and analyze complex social phenomena.
  • Promote a Master's Thesis that contributes creatively to the deepening of a specific topic in scientific, technological, or humanistic knowledge from systemic, constructivist, and complexity perspectives.
  • Encourage the completion of an Equivalent Formative Activity (AFE), consisting of applied work that seeks to solve a complex problem with originality, demonstrating professional competencies using resources from systemic, constructivist, and complexity perspectives.
  • Foster a serious scientific attitude and a professional work style based on ethical research principles, promoting the training and participation of professionals and academic teams with a high sense of responsibility and social commitment.
  • Disseminate specialized knowledge in systemic, constructivist, and complexity perspectives through the MAD Journal, periodic extension activities, and other publications.

The Graduate Profile of the Master in Systemic Analysis Applied to Society expects graduates to be competent to perform in leadership positions in academic, research, professional, and consultancy contexts, in the public and private sectors and civil society organizations, both nationally and internationally. Ability to lead and participate in interdisciplinary teams in scientific and professional fields. Skills to continue PhD studies at highly prestigious or academically competitive universities.
  • Professional Projections: Ability to identify, diagnose, analyze, and explain social problems. Skills to advise on decision-making and evaluate social policies or projects. Capacity to participate in and lead interdisciplinary professional teams.
