Graduate Profile

The program enables graduates to develop a complex and reflective understanding of what is defined, designed, and implemented as Social Work, covering all contexts in which these practices take shape. It is explicitly aimed at developing academic, research – both basic and applied – and intervention capacities in Master's students, ensuring they maintain focus on the nature of Social Work. The mixed nature of the program is grounded in this approach.

Upon completing the Master's, graduates will be able to analyze social phenomena from a critical perspective, using tools for both research and the development of innovative Social Work interventions. Graduates can choose a research-oriented profile or one focused on improving interventions, developing either a thesis or an equivalent formative activity (AFE) as their final graduation project.
