Postgraduate Diploma in Social Systems Theories Applied to Sociocultural Complexity

Coordinator: Dr. Gabriela Azócar de la Cruz

Description:

The program is organized around the work of the MASS Master's program and the line of our Complex Territorial Systems R&D Core. It consists of three courses, two of which are mandatory and a third that is optional, where students must choose between two alternatives. These courses are completed over two semesters: in the first semester, the mandatory theoretical courses are taught, and in the second semester, students select the application course that aligns most closely with their professional interests or challenges.

The Postgraduate Diploma in Social Systems Theory Applied to Sociocultural Complexity offers professionals in the social sciences and related fields the opportunity to engage in a systematic and guided study of this perspective, addressing its main conceptual tools and discussing its applications.

Currently, no diploma programs are oriented toward providing tools from this theoretical perspective, either nationally or in Latin America. Therefore, the Diploma will be offered in both on-site and distance-learning modalities, making it accessible to national students living outside Santiago, students from other Latin American countries, and professionals requiring a flexible study schedule due to work commitments.
